On Friday, May 5, 2017, the Durham Catholic District School Board recognized 10 graduates from Durham Catholic schools at the 4th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation Gala. A graduate from each secondary school received the Distinguished Catholic Alumni Award; and two were recognized with the Community Service Award.

“Our Distinguished Catholic Alumni and Community Service Award recipients are exemplary role models of the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations. Each has a story of inspiration that our current students can look up to; and those stories speak volumes to the value of Catholic education here in Durham Region and Ontario,” said Anne O’Brien, Director of Education.
