Franco-Ontarian Day - September 25, 2020

Franco-Ontarian Day is celebrated annually throughout the province on September 25. This date celebrates the first unveiling of the Franco-Ontarian flag in 1975 and is recognized across the province as an opportunity to highlight the vibrant Francophone presence in Ontario.

We are pleased to acknowledge Franco-Ontarian Day throughout the Durham Catholic District School Board this Friday, September 25, 2020; and encourage students and staff to wear green and white as we celebrate the contributions of the French-speaking community and appreciate the diversity that Francophones bring to Ontario.
