Students starting Grade 9 in September took advantage of our summer Reach Ahead program during the month of July and earned a high school credit in Introduction to Business or Exploring Technologies – Robotics.

Students at the Exploring Technologies class at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School have learned how to build solar cars, built robots, work in AutoCAD and have created models using 3D printers as part of their course.

Grade 9 student Megan said, “The Reach Ahead Program is a great introductory course to Technology classes. It has also helped me prepare for high school. I now have a better sense of what to study for leading up to exams.”

“The Reach Ahead Program doesn’t feel like summer school,” noted Valin, Grade 9 student. “The class was fun and engaging – it allows us to be innovate and creative.”
