St. Jude Catholic School hosts a Math Games Night - DCDSB launches Math@Home Kits

Local media are invited to attend a photo opportunity at St. Jude Catholic School, in Ajax to promote the launch of the Durham Catholic District School Board’s Math@Home kits. 

What:             Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB)’s Teaching and Learning department have
                      created and distributed new Math@Home learning kits to DCDSB elementary schools.
                      Educators have been using the kits in schools and are now hosting an evening of fun Math
                      games to teach parents and guardians how to use the kits at home. 

When:            Thursday, January 31, 2019
                      Time: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Why:              The Math@Home Kits are similar to the borrow a book program and allows
                      parents to work on children’s Math skills in a fun, interactive way - simple games to promote
                      children’s confidence in Math.
