French Café with Seniors

Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School students share ‘What Brings them Joy’ with Neighbouring Seniors 

Local media are invited to photography and interview French as a Second Language students from Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School as they interact with guests from the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre. 

What:            French as a Second Language students will converse with seniors
                     learning French over refreshments.  The theme for the conversation is
                     “Joy” and what brings us joy. 

When:           Thursday, April 25, 2019
                      Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Where:          Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School
                      Learning Commons
                      700 Stevenson Road North, Oshawa

Why:             Seniors who are currently enrolled in French Language lessons will
                     attend the school’s café to practice their emerging language skills with
                     our students who have been learning French for many years.

                     Students and seniors will share what bring them joy as they converse in
                     French.
