Celebrating Black History Month

February is Black History Month and students across our board are celebrating the achievements of Canada's diverse Black community, while embracing the culture and history.

 

On Saturday, February 1, 2020, the Durham Catholic District School Board was proud to partner with the Cultural Expressions Art Gallery for the 13th Annual Black History Month Celebration, in Ajax. The Spoken Word Club from Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School kicked off the celebration with an impressive performance of 'Who Are You'.
