“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26)

Thank you to our students, staff and families who joined us on Wednesday for the Stations of the Cross as we celebrated our Holy Week Community Prayer Service  online. This beautiful service led by our school chaplains and faith formation coordinator can be viewed anytime from the comfort of your home.

After a week of adjusting to new distance learning tools, technology and routines, we now pause for the holiest days of our Liturgical calendar – the celebration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

While this Easter season may be different than those in our memories as we are not able to gather in church and celebrate with our Catholic communities, hope remains. Let us be reminded that hope is the message of Easter – from death to resurrection. As Catholics, we are a community of hope, called to share the Good News that Christ is risen. As a school community, we continue to ensure that our students experience this hope, rooted in faith, shared daily through our work in word and deed.

As we end our Lenten journey, amid the challenges we face, these holy days can bring us moments of grace, a time to bear witness to the importance of faith in our lives. We encourage you to participate in virtual liturgies or alternative means for Gospel reflection through Bible passages, prayers or meditation.

However you choose to celebrate this Easter, we wish you peace in your heart, harmony with your family, and joy in the resurrection of Jesus.

May the light of Christ that lives in each one of us be our guiding source of strength, joy, and eternal life.

May the power of prayer, worship and celebration bring a sense of calmness to the world, so that we may soon gather again as Catholics, in peace, love and community.

May the love of God, reflected in the sacrifice of His Son, be with you and your families this Easter season.

Yours in Faith,
