Our school boundary information is managed through our find my Catholic school tool. This online tool allows parents to see which elementary and secondary schools correspond to their home address.
We maintain all school boundaries in accordance with Board Policy PO 415 - School Boundary. At times, the Board initiates changes to school boundaries to:
When this occurs, we engage the public as part of our consultation process in accordance with the Policy.
Our department ensures that our facilities are fully utilized. Annual projections are created for student enrolment and the utilization of all schools. We seek out facility partnerships to address under-utilized space within our Board.
If necessary, we will undertake an Accommodation Review in accordance with Policy PO 430 - Pupil Accommodation Review, and the related Administrative Procedure AP-430 - Pupil Accommodation Review.
