International students will be provided with opportunities to participate in planned academic and cultural excursions.  Students are also encouraged to participate in school clubs, sports teams and events that are of interest to them.  This is a great way to meet new friends and practice speaking English.

Planning for University or College

  • Going to University or College is an important next step after high school.  International students who would like to attend a university or college will have support for the planning process from a guidance counselor.
  • International Students in the Durham Catholic District School Board will also be able to participate in planned visits to university and college campuses in Durham Region and Toronto area, and speak to university and college staff about programs and admission requirements.
