Durham Catholic District School Board approves Inspire 2026 Strategic Plan

The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to announce that its new Multi-Year Strategic Plan, Inspire 2026 was approved by Trustees at a Special Board Meeting on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Inspire 2026 which is set to launch in January 2023, is the result of a comprehensive planning process that took place over a nine-month period and included a wide variety of engagement opportunities for students, families, staff, clergy, and community members. The plan provides a strategic framework to set direction and guide decision-making in DCDSB for the next three years from 2023-2026. Inspire 2026 also includes newly developed mission, vision, and values statements that reflect the collective voice of our Catholic learning community.

“After months of consultation, research and reflection, we are extremely proud of this new plan which we believe is responsive to the diverse needs of our students and community” said Tracy Barill, Director of Education, “We hope all will be inspired by the direction and priorities that have been identified to continue to enhance our Catholic School System in the years ahead.” 

“Many thanks to the Multi-Year Strategic Planning Committee, students, staff, families, and community partners who offered their feedback during the comprehensive consultation process,” said Morgan Ste. Marie, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
