P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres has made the difficult decision to temporarily close the before and after school program at St Francis de Sales Catholic School effective September 2022 due to low enrollment for this program and paired with a recruitment challenge due to an extreme shortage of Childcare Educators within the Region of Durham. P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres will will re-evaluate the viability of this program on a regular basis.

Students in Grades 6, 7, 8 are learning to cook with a focus on building numeracy skills as part of DCDSB’s Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre’s Summer Learning Programs. Asethetics CampStudents in Grades 6, 7 and 8 are participating in a new experiential learning camp focused on Hairstyling and Aesthetics as part of the board’s summer learning camps offered by DCDSB’s Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre.
