Ajax Fire Chief for the DayOn October 10, a Grade 3 student at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School was thrilled to learn that he had won the Ajax Fire Chief for the Day  contest! Super 60 Championships On Thursday, October 10, more than 660 students participated in the Durham Elementary Catholic Athletics (DECA) Super 60 Cross Country Championship Meet. 
Held as the culmination of the DCDSB 2024 Cross-Country season, the Super 60 Championships were open to elementary school runners in Grades 3 to 8 that placed in the top 15 at one of DCDSB’s four Regional Meets.
Well done to all the athletes who participated, and congratulations to all the champions!

Good Shepherd ThanksgivingStudents, staff, families, and guests gathered for a Thanksgiving luncheon in early October. Thank you to Fr. Neyomal Silva and Mary Lou Elliott from Immaculate Conception Parish and Trustee Damianopoulos for joining us.
