Ben Marshall and ElemISCOn Wednesday, May 15, students from the elementary Indigenous Student Circle were invited to go out on the land with Indigenous community partner and ecologist, Ben Marshall. Ben led the students out to the trail and forested area next to the Pope Francis Centre. The group checked for animal tracks, copisition of soil, and they also explored and examined trees and flowers up close with magnifying glasses. Indigenous Student Day During the week of May 6, Indigenous students in Grades 3-5 were invited to the Pope Francis Centre to participate in an Indigenous Student Day.
