Elementary School Registration
Elementary admissions are open to Catholic children and children of Catholic parents. Kindergarten students must be at least four years of age by December 31 of the school year for which they are registering.
Please follow these steps to register for a DCDSB elementary school:
- Step 1: Use the Find My Local Catholic School tool to find your designated home school;
- Step 2: Complete the online application through OSAS by selecting "Regular School - New Application". Note that to complete the application, you will need to create an OSAS account, or login to your existing account;
- Step 3: One the application has been submitted, the local Catholic elementary school will contact you with additional details and to arrange a time to bring in the required documentation to complete the registration, which includes:
- proof of age (birth certificate, birth registration or passport);
- proof of Canadian citizenship or residency status (birth certificate, passport, Permanent Residency card, Record of Landing or study permit);
- proof of residency in Durham (e.g., home purchase agreement, ownership title, lease or rental agreement, property tax assessment);
- proof of Religious Denomination (Baptismal Certificate of child or parent and/or guardian); and
- health records (immunization, allergies, etc.).
