All Saints Catholic Secondary School Hosts DYDAC Wellness Fair
All Saints Catholic Secondary School recently welcomed over 500 students to its Durham Youth Drug Awareness Committee (DYDAC) Wellness Fair, an event dedicated to promoting substance-use awareness and overall well-being among youth.
Supported by public health nurse Keith Rew, student leaders organized and ran a variety of interactive stations focused on education, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. Throughout the fair, students engaged in games, explored informative displays, and had the chance to win prizes while learning valuable strategies to support their physical and mental health.
The event was made possible through the coordination and leadership of the Stomping Out Stigma (SOS) student team, and Ms. Garant, whose efforts helped create a positive, engaging, and informative experience for all participants.
The DYDAC Wellness Fair continues to serve as a meaningful opportunity for students to build awareness, make informed decisions, and strengthen their commitment to healthy living.
