Bishop Nguyen Visits St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School

His Excellency, Bishop Vincent Nguyen, together with St. Bernadette parish priest, Father Chris, visited St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School on Friday, November 28. Bishop Nguyen led the school in a beautiful Jubilee Year liturgy and explained the significance of the pastoral staff, noting how a shepherd uses it to rescue a sheep trapped in a trench. He reminded everyone that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, that God loves each of us deeply, and invited the school community to bring hope to everyone we meet. He also highlighted the importance of being peacemakers and learning from our mistakes.

At the end of the liturgy, students and staff presented Bishop Nguyen with a prayer card signed by the school community.

We extend our sincere thanks to Bishop Nguyen and Fr. Chris for shepherding and uplifting the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School community.
