Celebrating a Meaningful Cultural Exchange at St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic School

St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic School was delighted to welcome Iker, Jared, and Luca to their school community this past month. A sincere thank you to Mr. Johnston and Ms. Dos Santos’ classes for their hospitality, leadership, and commitment in making this experience so memorable.

During their visit, the students fully embraced school life, participating in the co-ed Senior Soccer Tournament, Track and Field events, and the many joyful moments that make Grade 8 such a special year. Their presence enriched classrooms and provided a wonderful opportunity for authentic cultural exchange.

The St. Matthew the Evangelist community is grateful for the friendships that were formed and the connections that will continue beyond their time at at school. As Iker, Jared, and Luca return home, they will carry these experiences with them and continue to spread the magic in Mexico.

This exchange has been a valuable opportunity to build global awareness, deepen empathy, and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our Catholic learning community.
