Centre for Success Students Experience Food and Culture at St. Lawrence Market

On Wednesday, April 29, Centre for Success students joined Mr. Drake and Mrs. Baglole on a trip to the St. Lawrence Market to experience some food and culture. When they arrived into the city, students took a brief walking tour of the old Union Station building, the Fairmont Royal York lobby, a portion of the PATH underground system and Brookfield Place before heading over to the Market for lunch. The students explored the market and enjoyed lunch from Uno Mustachio before heading back along historic Front Street to Union. Please click here to view the photos.

The Centre for Success program is a dual credit alternative learning opportunity for students in their final year of high school. This is a unique program which, through a partnership with Durham College, allows students to complete their secondary school graduation requirements in an adult learning environment with support from DCDSB teachers. Students apply to this program through their home school. Please contact your school's Guidance Department for more information.
