DCDSB 2025-2026 Year-End Message

Dear DCDSB Families,

As the 2025-2026 school year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on another remarkable year at the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB). From joyful celebrations of faith to everyday acts of kindness, the many special moments we have shared remind us of what we can accomplish together as a caring Catholic learning community, rooted in love, hope, and belonging.

2025-2026 Year-End Message

This year, our Durham Catholic learning community came together to recognize many meaningful achievements. We invite you to view our year-end video message, which captures these moments and more.

Alongside these highlights, we also hold in our hearts the everyday successes – the quiet achievements, acts of kindness, and moments of gratitude that have enriched our schools. In a special way, we are reminded of our call to live out this year’s spiritual theme “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9), as we continue to nurture compassion, understanding, and harmony within our communities.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduating students on this important milestone. It has been a privilege to be a part of your journey, and we look forward with pride and hope to all that lies ahead for each of you.

We remain grateful for the support and commitment of our families, staff, parishes, and partners. Together, we continue to listen, learn and live in faith, in support of our students.

Wishing all members of our Durham Catholic learning community a safe, restful and joyful summer.

Yours in peace and faith,
