DCDSB Summer Hours

During July and August, the Durham Catholic District School Board's Catholic Education Centre (650 Rossland Rd. W., Oshawa) is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Elementary school offices are closed for the summer and will re-open on Monday, August 24, 2026. To register an elementary student for school during July or August, please visit our website for details.
  • Secondary school offices remain open during the summer from Monday to Thursday.
  • For information on summer programs offered through Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre, please visit con-ed.ca. 

The first day of school for elementary and secondary students is Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Visit our website to view the 2026-2027 school year calendars.

DCDSB Coding and Robotics Camp

Innovation was on full display at DCDSB’s Coding and Robotics Camp! Students built and customized robots, wrote their own code, troubleshooted bugs and put their problem-solving skills to the test. Working from a base model, campers added their own creative modifications as they prepared for an exciting robot battle at the end of the week. 

Through hands-on STEM challenges, students developed coding, collaboration and critical-thinking skills while having fun bringing their creations to life.
