Drawing God at St. John Paul II Catholic School

During a deeply faith-filled learning experience at St. John Paul Catholic School, staff were blessed to engage in a meaningful hands-on encounter following a captivating read-aloud by author Karen Kieffer, creator of Drawing God.

Inspired by her story, educators explored their own spiritual perspectives by creating unique artistic interpretations of how they see God, each expressed on canvas with creativity, reflection, and heart. This powerful experience invited staff to connect faith with artistry, deepening their understanding of God’s presence in everyday life.

These beautiful and personal creations will soon become a lasting symbol within the school, as they are thoughtfully displayed in a gallery wall for the entire community to experience. This collective expression of faith will serve as an inspiring reminder that God is seen, known, and shared in wonderfully diverse ways.
