Elementary Students Participate in First Lego League Robotics Competition

On Friday, May 15, students in Grades 4-6 across four DCDSB schools participated in the First Lego League robotics competition at the Pope Francis Centre. This competition was in collaboration with First Robotics, who guided students and teachers throughout the process.

The competition covered many curriculum areas including math, science, engineering, language, and transferrable skills such as team-building and critical thinking. Teams competed in various tasks, including team missions and math and science challenges.

Congratulations to all the students that participated and to all the teachers and volunteers who helped students along the way!
