Human Trafficking Prevention Training Offered by Victim Services of Durham Region
Victim Services of Durham Region is offering free community presentations on human trafficking awareness and prevention. Students, parents/guardians, and community members are invited to attend.
Led by Kate Moore, Human Trafficking Prevention Facilitator, these sessions will cover how to recognize warning signs, understand grooming and exploitation, promote online safety, and access local community supports and services. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and take part in a discussion after the presentation.
