Monsignor John Pereyma C.S.S. Students Engage in a Black History Month Lunch and Learn

Students at Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School took part in a special Black History Month Lunch & Learn, where members of Pereyma’s Black Student Association (BSA) led a hands-on twists and braids workshop. Students learned about the cultural significance of protective styling, explored the artistry behind braiding, and practiced new techniques. The session created an opportunity to celebrate and empower our youth to live fully in their Black joy.

A huge thank you to the BSA for sharing their skills, leadership, and creativity, and for continuing to create spaces that uplift and honour Black culture.
