Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School Donates Dog Houses

Mr. Macina's Grade 12 Dual Credit Construction students from Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School learned some real life skills in home construction.
Over the past few months students have learned about various home building techniques such as flooring, framing, wall and roof construction.
Together the students worked with Mr. Macina and Durham College instructor Mr. Lyall to further deepen their knowledge in the construction trade. The class constructed four dog houses, which were happily donated to the Animal Services Centre in Whitby.
A special congratulations to all the students for all their hard work on this meaningful project. Mr. Macina and students would like to thank Durham College for working together throughout the school year. Additionally, they extend their gratitude to Allison from the Animal Services Centre for accepting the dog house donations.
