Nurturing the Home‑School‑Parish Connection: Annual Wellness Day at St. John XXIII Catholic School

St. John XXIII Catholic School held its Annual Wellness Day on Friday, February 13, bringing together local clergy, parish staff, parent council members, school administrators, dedicated educators, and public health nurses from Durham Region Public Health for a meaningful day focused on supporting student mental health and overall well‑being.

The community was especially honoured to welcome His Excellency, Bishop Nguyen, accompanied by Rev. Marijan Sisko, who visited the school as part of their pastoral outreach. Their presence strengthened the vital partnership among families, parishes, and schools, united in their shared commitment to nurturing students within a vibrant Catholic educational community.

A heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who contributed to the success of this special day, and to Bishop Nguyen and Rev. Marijan Sisko for their guidance, support, and gracious presence.
