Reminder: Summer Program Registration – Spots Still Available!

Summer is just around the corner, and DCDSB’s Continuing Education Centre is excited to offer a variety of engaging and enriching summer programs for elementary and secondary students.

Many of our popular programs have filled, and we are grateful for the strong interest from families and students across the DCDSB. However, there are still a limited number of spaces available in select programs, and we encourage families to register as soon as possible.

Elementary Summer Programs

Our in-person camps for students finishing Grades 6-8 focus on building literacy and numeracy skills while keeping students active, engaged, and having fun. Registration is still open for the following camps:

Details regarding program dates, locations, and registration can be found on our website at con-ed.ca

International and French Language Programs

Students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 can also register in the International Language program, with 23 languages available. Classes run throughout July at various DCDSB locations. French language programming is also available for students in Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Transition to High School Programs

For students entering Grade 9 in the fall:

  • The Head Start Program (August 17–20) provides students with an opportunity to strengthen literacy and numeracy skills, explore Grade 9 Math and English, and build confidence for a successful transition to high school. This program is non-credit.
  • The Reach Ahead Program (July 6–29) allows eligible Grade 8 students to earn a high school credit before starting secondary school.

Register Today

There are still opportunities available for your child to learn, grow, and connect this summer. We encourage you to visit con-ed.ca/summerschool and complete registration as soon as possible to secure a spot.
