St. Bernadette Catholic School Participates in Jump Rope for Heart

St. Bernadette Catholic School is proud to share the continued success of their participation in the Jump Rope for Heart event in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Last year, the St. Bernadette Catholic School community set a fundraising goal of $2,000 and absolutely surpassed expectations by raising an impressive $4,317! Students celebrated their achievement with some unforgettable rewards, including the opportunity to duct tape Principal Linhares to the wall and even pie him in the face. It was a fun and memorable way to recognize their hard work and generosity.

Building on that momentum, this year the school aimed even higher with a goal of $3,000. Once again, students and families went above and beyond, raising an outstanding $4,450 for this important cause.

To celebrate, students who contributed to the fundraising efforts were invited to take part in a special reward of dunking Principal Linhares, along with a few brave staff members representing each division. It was a highlight of the day and brought lots of excitement and laughter to the school community.

Students enjoyed a fantastic day of skipping last month and a lively final assembly to wrap up the event on May 28.

St. Bernadette Catholic School is incredibly proud of their students and families for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to supporting a cause that impacts so many families. The school community looks forward to seeing what creative goals and celebrations next year will bring as they continue to support this worthy initiative.
