Together for Mental Health: BWell Students Kick Off Campaigns for 2026

On December 11th, DCDSB’s secondary mental health leadership group, BWell, came together for both some holiday cheer, and to begin work on this year’s promotional campaigns. These students from each of our secondary schools have engaged in conversations about mental health promotion and have looked at how the board and individual schools can help support student well-being. The promotional campaigns that they are creating will be available during Catholic Education and Mental Health Week in May.

The campaigns are focusing on seeking help for mental health and substance use, information for parents, breaking the stigma around male mental health, transitions and helping others who may be struggling and more. We are looking forward to seeing their final products!
