Topic 1: AM - Creating the Conditions for Learning (Anti-Black Racism, Bullying Prevention and Intervention, 2025-2026 Spiritual Theme)
Location: In person at home-based schools

Audience: All Educators
Description: Educators will participate in professional learning that sets the foundation for a safe and welcoming school environment. Topics will include the Ontario College of Teachers Advisory on Anti-Black Racism, Bullying Prevention and Intervention. Additionally, educators will examine the Board’s Spiritual Theme, Blessed are the Peacemakers, and explore how this can be integrated into the faith formation of students and staff.

Description: Educators will examine student profiles of incoming students to assist with transitions to the new classroom.
Topic 3: PM - Creating the Conditions for Learning (Artificial Intelligence, Homework Guidelines, new resources to support student achievement)
Location: In person at home-based schools
Presenters/Facilitators: Principals and Vice-Principals
Audience: All Educators
Description: Educators will participate in professional learning that sets the stage for improvements in student achievement. Topics will include guidelines on homework, academic integrity in the face of artificial intelligence, and new resources and tools that can be used in all subject areas to improve student learning.
