Insurance Requirements

Our Board has recently updated its Community Use of Schools Administrative procedure. All groups requesting a Community Use of Schools permit are required to provide us with an insurance certificate showing a minimum of $5 million dollars liability with the Durham Catholic District School Board listed as additional insured.

If you are approved as a "recreational group", you may purchase insurance from us at a cost to be determined based on the facility requested, number of participants and type of event.
