Archbishop Francis Leo visits Durham Catholic District School Board

It was a special afternoon on August 23, as Archbishop Francis Leo presided over Mass with Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) principals, vice-principals, superintendents and staff. Held during his first visit to DCDSB since his appointment as the Archbishop of Toronto in March 2023, the Mass was also an opportunity to commission new administrators.

His Grace’s visit was a fitting way to celebrate the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year. As students and families prepare for the start of school, the board remains committed to listening, learning and living in faith. Archbishop Leo’s wisdom and guidance serve as strong inspirations for all staff, as they work to help every student achieve their full spiritual and educational potential.
