BFCN Scholarship Application Workshop for Black Durham Region Students (Monday November 13th @06:30PM)
Black students in the Durham Region and their families are invited to join us for a virtual edition of the BFCN Scholarship Application Workshop on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM EST.
Black Foundation of Community Networks (BFCN), in collaboration with the Durham Region Anti-Racism Taskforce (DRART), is providing a free online workshop to show Black students and their families how to search, prepare, and apply for scholarships and bursaries. If you are in high school or Grade 8, this workshop is especially for YOU!
Our main goal is to share our collective knowledge so that Black students and their families can make informed decisions about post-secondary education and funding options. Note that the BFCN Scholarship Program Coordinator will also be present to answer any questions.
Upon registration, you will receive your unique link to access the Zoom meeting. Please save this email as you will need it in order to access the meeting. On the day of the event, a confirmation email and further details will be sent to all those who register.
