Christmas Giving

Christmas Giving

As a Catholic learning community, we always strive to support our families, especially at Christmas when we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the spirit of giving. The past few years have been especially challenging for many families. In the spirit of sharing what we have with the less fortunate, we are asking for your help in choosing to support one or more of our Christmas Giving Initiatives.

Gift Card Drive

As a school, we are holding a Gift Card Drive from November 28th to December 8th to support families in our school community and across our DCDSB communities. Gift cards for grocery stores in any dollar amount would be most appreciated, since this will allow families to redirect some of their grocery budget towards Christmas gifts and other items they might need. All donations should be sent into the classroom teacher who will then forward them to the office. Gift cards will be used to support our families first, remaining gifts cards will be kept in a safe place until there is a Board-coordinated pick-up at the end of the campaign to support other families in our DCDSB community.

The Society of St. Vincent DePaul, St. Isaac Jogues Conference (Christmas Outreach Program)

Consider a donation to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Financial donations will be used to provide support for their families by providing members a cheque. This allows families to choose for themselves the food and gifts most appropriate for their families and adds a sense of dignity to their Christmas. Any cheques should be made payable to: SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY, ST. ISAAC JOGUES CONFERENCE. Anyone who donates $20.00 or more will receive an income tax receipt. Donations should be placed in an envelope showing the donor’s full name & address, postal code, and amount of donation. The receipts will be mailed in early 2023. Please send the envelope to our School Office.

Food Drive

Please consider donating non-perishable food items to our Advent Food Drive which will support families in our school community as well the local Food Bank.

Thank you for your support and generosity during this Christmas season.
