Classrooms Highlight the Power of UFLI in Action
Recently, the Literacy Consultants identified early adopters of the UFLI program. 13 educators opened their doors to host demonstration classes, providing an invaluable opportunity for 40 primary educators and Designated Early Childhood Educators to observe the UFLI program in action. The UFLI program is an explicit and systematic program that teaches students the foundational skills necessary for proficient reading.
The feedback that was received by educators underscored the value of hands-on, real-world learning opportunities. Seeing UFLI strategies implemented effectively in a live classroom setting not only reinforced theoretical knowledge but also inspired educators to bring these best practices back to their own classrooms. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the host teachers for their willingness to share their expertise and to everyone involved in coordinating this impactful initiative. Together, we are building stronger literacy foundations across our schools!
