DCDSB 2024-2025 Budget Consultation
Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
School and board planning for the 2024-2025 school year is underway and we want to hear from you! As a member of our Durham Catholic learning community, your feedback on what we are currently doing well, and ways we can improve, is important to us.
Listening, Learning and Living in Faith are foundational processes that form the core of DCDSB's Multi-Year Plan, Inspire 2026. Through these processes, school and board annual budget and plans will be developed and implemented under the strategic priorities of:
- Supporting Faith and Well-Being;
- Advancing Human Rights and Equity; and
- Improving Student Learning.
We want to know your thoughts on how we are doing in these areas. What is going well? Where can we improve?
Your input will help to inform our school and board annual plans and budget for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please share your thoughts by participating in a ThoughtExchange, by answering the following question:
From your perspective, what do you feel we are doing well, and what do you think we can do to improve in the following areas: Supporting Faith & Well-Being, Advancing Human Rights & Equity, and Improving Student Learning?

We ask that participants be considerate when sharing thoughts so we can have respectful and open discussions about our learning community. Please do not include ideas/comments that name or refer to specific students, staff, or individual situations, as thoughts of this nature will be removed from the exchange.
How does ThoughtExchange Work?
ThoughtExchange is an anonymous platform and will allow you to share your thoughts and rate the thoughts and ideas of others. Participants confidentially share their answers to a question and can rate the ideas/answers that others have submitted. All thoughts and ratings are anonymous.
You can come back as often as you would like to participate and, in fact, we encourage you to come back to rate some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas of investment for the upcoming school year.
Please click here to participate in the Thought Exchange. This ThoughtExchange will be available until Friday, March 22, 2024.
Sincerely,
Durham Catholic District School Board
