DCDSB Math Hub Professional Learning Series

During the 2023-2024 school year, priority schools participated in the "Math Hub" professional learning series. These hands-on sessions brought together educators from multiple schools to collaborate on addressing common student misconceptions, exploring new math resources, and sharing best practices. School administrators also took part, enhancing their math content knowledge to better support their educators. Held in November, February, and April, the sessions were hosted in schools, allowing teachers to work directly with students in classroom settings. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
