We hope you had a joyful Christmas break filled with time spent with loved ones. We are looking forward to welcoming students and staff back to our schools on Monday, January 8, 2024.
We wanted to share a few updates and reminders with you, ahead of school resuming next week.
Report a Student Absence Through Safe Arrival
If your child is going to be absent, we ask that you notify the school using one of the following methods:
- Safe Arrival portal login: go.schoolmessenger.ca
- Call the toll free number: 1-844-288-7628
- Report the absence through our smartphone mobile application: SchoolMessenger. Available from the App Store and Google Play Store.

DSTS – Check Your Childs Bus Route
Durham Student Transportation Services (DSTS) is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation to and from schools for eligible students.
Families are encouraged to create an account for the DSTS Parent Portal, where they can subscribe to receive email alerts for their child(ren)'s bus route(s). Please note that parents and guardians will require their child(ren)'s Ontario Education Number (OEN) to subscribe. Please click here to view information on how to create an account.

Inclement Weather
As we are now in the winter season, parents, guardians and caregivers are reminded to subscribe to Durham Student Transportations Services website to receive updates on inclement weather zones and to track your child's bus. Visit dsts.on.ca for more information.
