DCDSB Students Participate in the Skills Ontario Provincial Competition

On May 5 and 6, DCDSB secondary students competed in Skills Ontario Provincial Competition at the Toronto Congress Centre. Students competed in the following areas: Home Build, 2D Character Animation, Photography, Auto Service Technology, Robotics, Carpentry, and Pluming.

Father Leo J. Austin Catholic Secondary School students Lydia and Ryan had previously placed 1st and 2nd in the Welding Qualifying Competition and competed again in the Provincial Competition. Notre Dame student Camila placed 4th overall in the Provincial Plumbing competition on May 6.
