Educators Participate in Indigenous Education Professional Development Sessions

On April 10, educators from All Saints Catholic Secondary School participated in a professional development session with members of the Indigenous Education team. These educators were part of a larger project this school year that targeted selected schools to build capacity within the entire team. 

During this session, educators connected to the land, reviewed historical context through a timeline exercise, explored the importance of traditional language and language revitalization as well as explored many different resources, including the new D2L designed for Grade 7 and 8 curriculum content.  

The second session will be happening at the end of May for supported program development and consultation.
