Indigenous Student Circles Embrace Woodburning Art with Vicky the Real Artist

On February 7, 12 members of the Elementary and Secondary Indigenous Student Circles engaged in a woodburning art workshop with local Indigenous artist Vicky Grant, who is also known as Vicky the Real Artist.

Every student had the freedom to design their own original artwork, and created a paddle unique to their interests.

Vicky will also be returning at the beginning of March to lead this workshop with the other 10 members of the Indigenous Student Circles.
