Mental Health & Well-Being: Recognizing Your Feelings and Seeking Help

Together for Mental Health: Everyone, Everyday
Developing positive mental health is important to academic achievement and overall well-being.

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. It's crucial to recognize when you might need support. Here are some signs that indicate it might be time to seek help:

Persistent Sadness or Anxiety: If you feel sad, anxious, or overwhelmed for more than a few weeks, it's important to talk to someone.

Changes in Behavior: Noticeable changes in your eating or sleeping habits, withdrawal from friends and activities, or a drop in academic performance can be signs of a mental health concern.

Difficulty Coping: If you're finding it hard to cope with daily stress, schoolwork, or relationships, reaching out for support can make a big difference.

Thoughts of Hurting Yourself: If you ever have thoughts of harming yourself or others, it's crucial to seek help immediately. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Remember, it's okay to ask for help. You can talk to a trusted Teacher, Guidance, Chaplain, Administrator or any staff member. We're here to support you.
