These days are all about checking in with ourselves and each other and thinking about how a new school year can bring a mix of emotions—excitement, nerves, curiosity, and maybe even stress. That’s completely normal. Whether you’re stepping into high school for the first time or returning for another year, remember: you’re not alone.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, unsure, or just need someone to talk to, please reach out to any staff member. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. We’re a community—and you’re an important part of it.
So today, remember:
- You belong here.
- You are cared for here.
- You are never alone here.
Let’s make this year one of kindness, courage, and connection. You’ve got this!

Happy Wellness Wednesday and welcome to a brand-new school year! As we begin this journey together, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of wellness—for your children, for you, and for our entire school community.
Starting a new school year can bring a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, curiosity, and sometimes uncertainty. These feelings are natural, and part of growing and adapting. At our school, we are committed to creating a space where every student feels safe, cared for, and valued.
We believe that learning happens best when students feel emotionally and mentally supported. That’s why we focus on building strong relationships, encouraging open communication, and promoting healthy habits—through initiatives like Wellness Wednesdays, classroom check-ins, and access to caring adults throughout the building.
Every teacher, staff member, and administrator is here to help your child thrive—not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. If your child ever feels overwhelmed or needs support, we’re here to listen and help.
You play a vital role in your child’s wellness. We encourage you to:
- Check in with your child regularly about how they’re feeling.
- Celebrate small wins and progress.
- Reach out to us if you have concerns or questions—we’re here for you too.
Together, let’s make this school year one of growth, kindness, and connection.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s education and well-being. We’re excited for all that this year will bring!
