Monsignor Paul Dwyer CHS Presents…DISNEY’S NEWSIES JR.!

Dwyer Arts is proud to bring Disney’s Newsies Jr. to the stage June 7-10, 2023.

Newsies Jr. is a dynamic, character-driven show rooted in history: the summer newspaper strike of 1899 in New York City, USA. This semester, Dwyer Musical Theatre students in grades 9-12 have been working hard to learn and study history and stagecraft as they hone their singing, dancing, and acting skills for performance. Our Technical Production students, also ranging from grades 9-12, continue to build and decorate set and prepare for audiences by running lighting and sound cues while rehearsing scene changes and transitions. Join us for a fun, fast-paced, family-friendly musical with a run-time of one hour. All performances begin at 7:00pm sharp!
