Mrs. Wheeler's Weekly Update - May 15th, 2023
Dear Parents/Guardians of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School:
I hope that Mother’s Day has been a happy day for all our Seton mothers, grandmothers and those women who guide and mentor children. It truly was a lovely day to be outside and celebrating family.
During May, we honour Mary, the Queen of Heaven and of Earth. On Tuesday, our amazing Rosary Volunteers will be joining us for two Crowning of Mary Liturgies and we would love for our families to attend if they are able:
• 8:30 am – FDK-Gr.4/5
• 9:30 am - Grades 5-8
On Monday and Tuesday, we invite our families to bring in flowers or a plant that we can use to adorn our Mary Altar in the front foyer of our school.
Congratulations to our Junior Soccer Team for their great efforts this past week, to the Coaches, Mrs. Reginorld and Mrs. Guirdanella, and all staff who covered duties and welcomed students into their classrooms. We wish our Senior Teams great luck this week in their tournament play.
Thank you for visiting Cash-On-Line and supporting our Frozen Friday. Thank you to our amazing Parent Volunteers – delivering freezies to 26 classes in a window of time takes great organization to say the least.
Tomorrow evening, May 15th, at 6 pm, we are welcoming the incoming FDK families for September 2023. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers as they begin the 10 year journey which is elementary school. They are joining a wonderful school community and we will have representation from many agencies as well as our Catholic School Council so that the families feel the love and support that is waiting for them. A very proud night for our school.
Have a great week, hard to believe it leads us to the Victoria Day Weekend!
Mrs. Wheeler, Principal
