Njacko Backo Visits St. Patrick Catholic School

On February 21, students in Grades 1-8 enjoyed an interactive French performance by artist Njacko Backo at St. Patrick Catholic School. As part of the school's Black History Month activities, Njacko shared music, dance and stories from his home country of Cameroon. Students sang "J'aime mon école..." (I love my school), and Grade 8 students played a variety of traditional instruments including the djembe drums. Even staff were called up to perform! All in all, it was a fantastic afternoon.
