Notre Dame Students Participate in Durham Action Community Group Forum
Two of Notre Dame Catholic Secondary Schools student leaders, Trenyce and Domini, were invited to participate in a forum with the Durham Action Community Group. Titled “In Their Own Voices: Disrupting Anti-Black Racism & Hate Forum & Dialogue”, various community organizations from Durham Region presented information and statistics on anti-Black racism and ways to act against it as student leaders. Students learned from prominent community leaders and were given the opportunity to network and discuss with their peers in Durham to make real change in Durham for Black youth and the community.
