Special Farewell Party to International Students at Archbishop Denis O'Connor Catholic High School

Last week, our international students at Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School shared a special farewell by cooking a traditional Japanese meal in their cooking class. The Japanese students led the way—selecting recipes, sharing their culinary knowledge, and guiding their classmates in preparing an incredible feast.

The menu included miso soup, beef curry, sticky rice, Chinese fried chicken, and a sweet finish with green tea ice cream! On Friday, they gathered to enjoy the meal together as a meaningful send-off and celebration of their time here.

It was a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and connection. Though we’re sad to see them go, we’re grateful for the memories they’ve left behind. Safe travels!
