St. John the Evangelist Catholic School Spreads Christmas Cheer

This year at St. John the Evangelist, we launched The Kindness Collective, a club that meets every Wednesday to promote kindness, well-being, and positive school culture. Each month, we create a school/family/community challenge focused on spreading kindness.
This month’s Kindness Challenge is “Spread Christmas Cheer.” We reached out to Jacked Up Coffee in Whitby to see if they would be interested in lending us some coffee and tea sleeves so we could help spread a little holiday joy. They kindly agreed, and we challenged our whole school to decorate the sleeves with cheerful drawings and messages.
Our students went above and beyond - we collected over 500 decorated sleeves to give back to Jacked Up Coffee! The students had a wonderful time creating them, and it has been so heartwarming to see people around Whitby walking with drinks wrapped in our students’ festive artwork.
