St. Mary Terry Fox Walk/Run (September 20th)
This year our school community had the opportunity to hold our very own Terry Fox Run/Walk on September 20th.
The generosity of our students and their families was overwhelming, and we were able to beat our target goal of $6000 and raise over $14,000 for cancer research!
The event was also a big success with our students as we were able to make a day out of it and offer some fun activities for our school community. Students were able to come together and partake in activities such as volleyball, a soccer penalty shoot-out contest, a 3-point shooting competition and a dance off. The feedback from our students new and old, was very positive, and we look forward to continuing this incredible event and celebrate it for years to come.
