DCDSB Grade 9 Students Get to Work On November 1 Grade 9 students across the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) took part in Take Our Kids to Work Day, an annual career exploration event where participants experience a day in the life of a working professional. Linked with the career component of the Grade 9 curriculum, students had the opportunity to gather information on the realities of work, as well as employment opportunities and entry requirements, while also strengthening the link between home, school and the community.

Community Fair and Symposium Recap On October 25, DCDSB Student Services hosted a successful Community Resources Symposium and Fair, supporting pathways planning and the well-being of students with special education needs in Grades 7 – 12+.
